The most popular way to get around Nusa Penida is by renting a scooter (called an Ojek) or hiring a private driver with a car or motorbike. This is the best option if you want to explore the cliffs and waterfalls. The roads are rough, and some spots require a strong bike to go up and down steep hills.

The best time to visit is between February and March, when the weather is warm but not humid. You’ll have better luck finding accommodation and avoiding crowds.
